1. Wheel selection
1. What is the difference between universal wheel/directional wheel/single wheel?& zwnj;
Universal wheel: 360° rotation, suitable for flexible steering (such as AGV cars).
Directional wheels: Only rotate on a single axis and require external steering. They are suitable for straight and heavy loads (such as rack trucks).
Single wheel: No bracket structure, directly embedded into the bottom of the device (ultra-low installation height scenarios).
2. How to choose nylon wheels/polyurethane wheels/rubber wheels?& zwnj;
Nylon wheels: Wear resistant, but are prone to brittle cracking at low temperatures (use with caution when <-10℃).
Polyurethane wheels: Silent and resistant to pressure, but afraid of sharp objects (protective plates need to be added on gravel roads).
Rubber wheels: Strong earthquake resistance, but high self-weight (about 30% heavier than nylon wheels).
3. Influence of wheel diameter on load bearing?& zwnj;
For every 25mm increase in wheel diameter, the dynamic load increases by about 15%(such as 200kg for 100mm wheels≈ and 230kg for 125mm wheels≈).
2. Brake type
1. What is the difference between double brake and single brake on caster brakes?& zwnj;
Double brake: simultaneously locks wheel rotation + bracket steering (anti-sliding + anti-offset), suitable for slopes (required for slopes>5°).
Single brake: Only locks the wheel to rotate, suitable for temporary fixing in flat workshops.
2. Which is more durable for screw brake/pedal brake?& zwnj;
Screw brake: Tighten manually and has strong vibration resistance (preferred for equipment vibration scenarios).
Pedal brake: Operate with one foot (response time), but it is easy to loosen after long-term use (calibration needs to be performed quarterly).
3. Is anti-static brake wheels necessary?& zwnj;
Precision electronics workshops are mandatory, but ordinary workshops can save money (estimated cost is 50% higher).
3. Installation parameters
1. What are the installation hole spacing standards?& zwnj;
National standard hole spacing: 80× 80mm, 100× 100mm, 120× 120mm (error± 1.5mm).
European standard hole spacing: 75× 75mm, 90× 90mm (need to check the holes in the equipment bottom plate).
2. How to match the thickness of the bottom plate and the bolts?& zwnj;
Bottom plate thickness≤ is 5mm: M8 bolt + spring washer.
Bottom plate thickness>5mm: M10 bolt + flat pad + elastic pad combination (anti-loosening).
3. Differences in load bearing between different installation methods?& zwnj;
Plate installation: 100% load bearing (heavy load recommended).
Screw installation: The load bearing is reduced by 20%(reinforcement plates need to be installed).
